A Day In My Life

I didn't know if I was right or wrong,

The only thing I knew was to get along.

It was just another day!

I decided to give it a try, to learn something out of the way.

I managed to make a list of things I love to do,

but landed nowhere due to the wrong flow.

I quit the idea as anything that came up was of no good,

I was confused and didn't know what else to do.

So, I landed on the surface where I never wanted to.

I was relaxed and survived a good few years,

but never tried to come out of the comfort zone.

Hang on! my mind said there is a long way to go.

It is not the end, as you can do more.

Survival is the option but not everything,

Each day will teach me to thrive for the next best thing.
