A Difficult Choice

The sky feels so dreamy at night

When fireflies light up the sky,

A little bit of breeze brushes me by,

A whole new feeling is awake tonight,

No words have been spoken for a while now,

Yet a lot of thoughts have run by my mind,

I look into your eyes to ask

Those questions I have in my mind,

Yet my lips be afraid to spell them out tonight,

Silence has always been a part of me

Even when I have a lot to say,

How should I express my love for you?

It's still a struggle to spell it out,

In midst of my chaos

You were always there by my side,

Tell me how will I bear the pain

If you had to leave and say goodbye?

These thoughts keep running in my mind,

But I don't want to lose a moment with you either,

I wish to spend more time I have with you

Than live in fear of what your response would be,

Cherish those moments where I see you smile,

Keep those memories of you with me in this dreamy night,

I chose my silence to have you near me,

But my heart still asks me

When would be the time

To express what really is?

And what would I be able to do

To handle the emotions that may come by?
