A Love So Pale

A Love So Pale

He looked at her pale white face which resembled a porcelain doll.

Closed eyes as if sleeping a beauty sleep for eternity.

A smile curled at the corner of his lips.

Now he was free...

Free from the clutches of his deepest fears.. darkest secrets..

Free from his year long griefs.

The fears that crawled under his bed.

The fear that dominated his head.

The fear that suffocated his dreams.

The fear that clutched his whims.

The fear that killed his happiness

With just one swift movement it vanished into nothingness.

As if it never existed..

He sighed looking at her. She resembled a porcelain doll.

His porcelain doll. A ragged porcelain doll.

The red tint on her slits resembled rose adorned corsage.

He felt relieved as he escaped the menacing mirage.

He smiled breaking the shackles. The shackles of human society.

The shackles that said "Men do not cry cause they're strong. "

Little did they know that they were so wrong...

He was conflicted whether to laugh or to grieve

As the daggers in his hands gave him his path of relief...

The year-long violence.. Year-long suppression he has broken through..

He never knew she wasn't a damsel in distress rather a demon dressed in beauty though

In just one swift movement as he had slit her wrist...

He already had known that his independence can be bought at the price of her life.
