A Night Away From All

In a deep green forest 

And star studded sky with crescent,

I found myself alone,

Neither friends nor phone. 

Suddenly I heard something 

It was a cricket ringing. 

It rang for a long,

Like an eternal song.

That night I gazed over the sky, 

My imagination wildly took a fly. 

I went in my soul's depth 

And found myself slept.

That night was the best 

Because I got blessed.

Blessed with tranquillity

Away from any calamity.

That day I realised 

To what no one emphasised, 

It was not any luxury I wanted, 

But love and peace that I aspired.
