A Small Prayer
A Small Prayer
I only wish to live,
Not to say, that I survive,
I want to have the heart,
Which feels the pain of others
The feelings and emotions,
Should not die,
The effort to make better world should strive.
I know chances are less,
But still there is goodness left,
There are eyes which shed tears,
Seeing the child living miserable,
Seeing the poor with no food on the table,
Seeing the lady of the family,
Treated unattended or crudely.
I only wish everyone to feel the pain,
There should be some difference between an animal and a man,
Mercy, tolerance and compassion,
Are the qualities which complete a human.
I only wish to live,
Not to say, that I survive.
