A STIR OF PEACE

I saw you in the field.

Alone with the burden of crops on head.

Watery wind made the weather chilled.

You’re standing still under the sky shade.

Groaning of clouds announced rain.

You’re waiting to be bathed.

It attracted your black eyes of pain.

Your all agony would be laved.

A wave in the scattered meadow.

Birds are at their nest.

The time is for the storm though.

Mankind gets scared of the arrival of new guest.

Branches of trees were waving in the air.

Aforetime evening came in the land.

You were yet calm and fair

As nothing was in your hand.

Flow of heavy wind untied your plait.

It dances with the rhythm of nature.

Heavy shower got you wet.

Your sorrow flow with your tears.

A sound of thunder breaks your trance.

As it gets relief making you light.

I saw your smile at a glance.

This moment ends all your fight.

I saw a relieved lady.

Walking slowly may be towards her cottage.

Still there rain is steady.

You made your own passage.

Darkness poached the surroundings.

I couldn’t see you anymore.

It was the moment of my blessings.

I’ll remember this as folklore.
