A Trap
A Trap
I was trapped in a trap.
It was my darkest part,
My body and soul were torn apart,
I cried in pain but in vain.
Eyes flooded in tears,
Face reddened in fear,
Tummy cried in hunger,
Heart saddened in sorrows.
I was tortured day and night,
The torture broke all heights,
I thought the sky fell on me,
And a monster engulfed me.
I prayed to God all the time,
To show me the light,
And give me strength,
To break the trap and live again.
I have lost the love my life,
But learnt a lesson to fight,
for life and never quit,
And I am quiet like a sea.
I regret, I repent,
For all mistakes,
But gone is gone,
Can't be undone,
I have to move on.
