My Life
My Life
In my life,
The role of a mother is empty.
By looking at me,
People feel pity.
I remember you go to school
Every day through that road.
I always stand there, begging,
Because going to school I can't afford.
Certainly, school is
A necessity for you.
For me, it's a luxury
Because the money I earn is few.
You have options
In your regular food habits,
But at the end of the day,
I eat leftover food bits.
Every night falls,
You listen to fairy tales,
For me, that time comes a threat
When my intoxicated father yells at me.
You were born
With a silver spoon,
My life is untracked,
As if my life lost the tune.
