A View From My Window

I want to go across those hilly mountains,

And reach the horizon I can see through my window,

I want to touch and feel the greenery,

From where comes the tweets of the cuckoos in crescendo...

Every inch of that mother Earth,

Every drop of that lovely lagoon,

Touches me at the deep of my heart,

And all I can see is nothing but a boon...

I can hear the whisper of the wind,

And the footsteps of the cattle moving around,

And the trickling sound of the water,

Falling from the top hill to a rocky ground...!!
