People say I repeat,

From burnt thatches to dull concrete,

I never stood and never did I leave

Just to see you and me grieve. 

It was all destiny

And I was destined to be a part

But I never saw you brimming over the past

You were strong and so was I

The only difference was

Your pride and my demise

I stood still 

When your actions made you a hero

I never cried

When your death made you a legend

I never forgot 

When time made you a myth

The world forgot-

What we went through together

But now I will speak

Louder than I ever could

No one can stop me-

From telling your story

Because I need you back 

All rising and shining,

Riding the same horses 

Cutting through the air-

With the same strength.
