Aftermath

Fighting guns in the sun,

Fighting guns in the dark,

Flying bullets in the head,

Piercing through the heart.

One body dies, two souls dead,

Didn't do it for shelter, didn't do it for bread.

Losing breath in endless cries,

On the land covered with blood all dry.

Fighting for the country, fighting for home,

Destroying countries, destroying homes?

There may be the cause, but is there a meaning?

What about the life she was dreaming?

Killing animals, protests everywhere!

Killing our own kind, no reasons no despair!
