When the opposition has become a mere supposition

The hate brigade inflicts suffering, the façade

Stands exposed, resulting in chaos

As if the enemy is outside, billion deal signed

While the enemy is within, the citizens singed

The SC looks askance, when will peace prevail

Violence has been going on for quite a while

The capital city now stands capitulated

Powers that be watched, their hatred sated!

History is repeated, divisiveness completed

Mahatma long dead, his Atma forgotten

Who can calm this nation, God forsaken?

Statue of unity, sabka vikas, unity in diversity,

Merely symbols, slogans, acting in impunity

The nation got trumped by himsa

Can anyone believe we gave the world ahimsa?
