The Depth 

The Depth of an ocean 

The Depth of a human heart

Beholds and conspires in the darkness and light that comes and goes 

You touch my wounds with your lips 

Enclose my pain in your clasp 

The distances between us seem

Light years and more 

The distance between the earth and the sky 

The distances between the moon and the earth

Is just relative so abstract yet absolute 

Like defining love painted on the last leaf 

The love engraved on that tiny last leaf 

You hold my tears like sparkling diamonds and pearls, you make them yours 

There is no us but a blended spot in the universe.

The wheel of life turns, churning lifetimes

 

The seasons give way without a word

Nature repeats its cycle 

What goes around comes around 

Life is but a lesson learned hard 

The wine of best grapes flows 

Mesmerizing moments erasing the scars 

For bits of seconds borrowed from eternity

In Depth and heights, we find God

 

In pain and passion, we become God 

Filled with divinity and just nothing 

In the plains and peaks, we train ourselves 

To strive for the art of survival 

Love my love 

You get entangled in the loops of the soul 

You become the best verse I ever quoted 

Like a chanting, you become my hymn and path 

Depth of an ocean 

I see in your eyes 

I get lost in its kindness 

I find the light you sparkled in me 

We rhyme and rhyme rain and hail
