"Alone"

You came in when the sun was dawning,

When you left, it left me in the darkness.

I was helpless and could not understand what have I done,

Lots of things I think were undone.

It’s very painful for me to see loved ones going,

I was just left with a wish to see you returning,

I was left with nothing except to feel bad and cry,

I thought of happy times we shared with a laugh.

You were the only person, with whom I used to lay my heart bare,

Things have changed since and my heart is now covered up.

It was the time when we used to share everything,

Now, we don't have anything to share, nothing.

I don't blame anyone for such situations taking birth,

Which lead to our close friendship's death?

Whenever I was sad it was you, who accompanied,

You aren't there now, you can't help it and I'm left alone.
