Amateur Writer

I'm an amateur writer and not a professional,

My mind is neither enriched with

Modern, vibrant thoughts nor is too sharp and emotional,

I choose the wise from various thoughts that enter the mind,

To create a story or a poem of any kind,

The content may be romantic, melancholic or be it awe-inspiring,

Or may it be satiric to attack and admonish on the convention of a distracted society for well -being,

But I don't know, why I feel awesome and get excited in writing,

My hobby is writing and I don't spare time in useless thinking or disparaging,

Although my writing is sporadic I use my leisure in writing and reading but not in gossiping or vilifying,

I know it well that reading and writing make one wise,

Giving new thoughts and ideas widening

The mental dimension to a great size,

When my story or poem wins the reader's heart,

I feel exhilarated and bow down my head to the almighty,

Aspiring for his blessings to get at a dizzy height,

In the literature world, being amateur

I feel happy about utilizing my leisure.
