Amidst

In the small pockets of shyness,

I tried to keep myself from prying.

Here and there was my slyness,

When I found it hard to continue trying.

As I opened the tiny rooms of books,

They grew bigger with each grade.

I never grabbed many, on first day strange looks,

Which I would have with time, like to trade.

I tiptoed my ways ahead,

To de-elevate the difference.

To fit inside the puzzle of kids with tread,

And still I always remained along the deterrence.
