And I Met Her
And I Met Her
I met her...
When I lost my pink pen
I scattered my stuff...
Found toffee wrappers ten!
I met her...
When I made a doll with clay
And did no work that day...
I met her...
When I licked the choco on my face,
In the baker's all stared
"oh, what a disgrace!"
I met her...
When I grabbed the coin and flicked to play,
"you cheat", my brother did say!
I met her on the guava tree
As I dwelled with my favourite book,
- missed a step,
And to get up from there, lot of time I took.
I met her...
When I fell asleep on my chair,
And my daughter played with my hair.
Oh, I met her...
When I chased the butterfly
With a grin on my face,
To myself, I would lie!
She eased me and helped me to be me,
Oh, I want to meet her, she's my happiness key.
I giggled and giggled when I met her...
Tears ran by,
But of glee they were!!
I want to be with her
She is the child in me...
'cause there's a beautiful life I can see...
