And just like that, you happened again.

And just like that you happened again,

With the past contentment that felt like pain,

With the doodles on my notebook, which haven’t still faded with rain,

You just happened, again.

My marks which I tried to end,

Fought so hard to not just be your friend,

I woke up today, the marks still remain,

And just like that, you happened again.

From, lagging the attendance, pushing the grades,

Doing away with daily bus stops, the monsoons and

the morning alarms, to never missing the school again, 

you happened, and happened again.

I woke up afteshed, long after what it takes,

The smile which flashed on me while making the pancakes,

It reminded me yet again,

That you will happen, and continue to happen again!
