And Yet...

Each passing day is a quiet remembrance

Of how grateful we are for our existence!

We are nothing but a tiny drop,

In the humongous ocean called life!

Blissfully unaware when a sudden chop,

Can fizzle everything out and put out the light!

Yet we bathe in ignorance,

Living in our illusion,

Of power and arrogance,

Unaware when we ceased being human!
