Balanced Life

When I look back,

I realize,

I have lost,

I have found,

Endless things.

I have loved,

I have hated,

I have made mistakes,

I have also done incredible things.

I have succeeded,

I have failed miserably too.

I have hurt many,

I have got hurt too.

I have been fortunate,

To live a life of choices.

I have been unfortunate at times,

Not getting what I desired.

I have enjoyed good health,

I have suffered bad health.

Still, the balance sheet of life looks perfect.

It has been a pretty roller-coaster ride.

I have a lot of things to be grateful for,

I have a lot of complaints about life’s hurdles.

When I look back, I find,

I have learned to take things in stride.
