Before I Retire
Before I Retire
A thousand miles I walk,
Before I unwind and retire.
I fold my hands in prayer,
Untie the knots I fear.
I think if all that glows,
But the miles I got to go.
In race with time I flee,
Slow and yet I grow.
Home is what you’re,
In truce is how I feel.
I belong in you, I know!
It’s nothing but surreal.
