Humans are considered

To be superior to animals,

But some are even more barbaric

Than the striped apparent menial,

Why is it so that the most

Sentimental and sensible animals

Can't understand

The true meaning of life?

Green wars, malpractices

And betrayals to self

And others have become

Key to 'power'

Why does our lust

To become

Master of nature and man

Blind our conscience

So we can't even differentiate

Gold from copper?

May one for once

Even appreciate the weeds,

Which seem so unwanted

Are yet full of life

Livin' being or been living
