Bit Of Blue Sky

I do not get to travel much,

Do not have Midas's golden touch. 

Nor do I possess a magic wand,

To take me far off to foreign land.

Whatever little that I travel,

I get excited to unravel.

A bit of blue sky that I capture,

Always sends me into rapture.

Magical marvel unfolding up above,

Azure blue to grey and golden, On wow!

Pink, purple, pastel shades of all hues,

But nothing to beat the cerulean blues.

Clouds adorn as they float and wander,

Looking down at the river meander.

Conjuring up moisture to bring in rain,

Showering upon hill, valley and plain.

Sky, convenor of spectacular sights, 

No wonder it has reached such great heights!

I do not get to travel much,

Do not have Midas's golden touch. 

But am elated to see my bit of blue sky,

No matter where I am, always sends me on a high!
