Black

Beauty shines when it is dark,

stars, moon even night's a remark.

Candle bloom or crackers are burst,

spread happiness which is just.

But everything that seems gay,

also has a different say.

With joy, it too reflects mourn,

gloomy faces are worn.

Hatred, violence and terrorist's prey,

speaks for itself as dark and grey.

Emptiness, hollowness are mere synonyms,

can't even be washed with chanting hymns.

Losing hope is losing soul,

beautiful black fills sadness' hole.

White is incomplete without black,

optimism, hope are life's best track!
