Blossom
Blossom
For a while, she slumbered
Dark and cold her bed became
The world moving around her
Her own strength hibernating in the earth
Clarity emerged slowly like winter to spring
A glimpse of sun pulling back her blanket
She stretched pushing through
Leaves on a flower soaking in the loving warmth.
The water and light guiding her back
She blossomed
Her budding courage arose
Her grower a beacon of love
For she had forgotten where she started
Her smile like a sunflower
Her laugh a meadow in the burned forest
It was He who brought her to life
God be the morning glory.
