Bouncing Bundle Of Joy - Buzo

You gave us profound joy, you gave us strength,

To live life through its twists and bends.

You taught us what life is and how to live,

And How to selflessly care and give.

You skilled us in loving wholly, completely,

And to love truly unconditionally.

You were always there at the door to greet,

Sniffing my bag for your scrumptious treat.

You wagged your tail and showed your delight,

With devotion in those two pools of light!

Lying down on the floor; paws in the air,

Waiting for me to stroke your hair…

Your eyes would say, ‘A little pat on my back,

Before you go about your daily task,

A tap on my nose, is it too much to ask?’

Now, who will be there to bark and say,

‘Woof woof, take care, and have a nice day’?

Who will wait for me to come home soon?

I wish I could see you up on the moon.

We miss you oh so so so much,

That wet nose and that furry touch.

An angel, a soul so pristine and pure,

You are already in heaven, of that I’m sure.

I don’t know when our tears will cease,

My darling Buzo, rest in peace!
