By The Cupping Of Hands (Nov. 26 Theme: Marriage)
Marriages, are made in heaven and not on earth,
Couples unite so as to build up a dream home and hearth.
Adam and Eve, the first man–woman couple in the Bible,
Made merry in the Garden of Eden, and their story is woven into women’s thimble;
Men and women marry because they wish to leave a legal heir,
Someone whom they can call their own, possessing their hair.
Nowadays, the partnership is having a new nomenclature,
Tying the knot in matrimony is passe and of outdated pasture
Lovers live together, without believing in the concept of marriage –
But they’re impeding the coming of legal children, cased in the noble carriage.
Marriage is also a form of social bonding,
It’s the way of families come together, otherwise absconding.
Lifelong companionship and support are provisoes when hands cup together,
They remain beside each other until the world goes to an end nether.
