Choices
Choices
Once I visited,
The city of desires.
There were too many,
What to choose?
I was tempted,
I was allured.
I tried to escape,
Every attempt of it.
But how long,
Tell me how long,
Could I elude,
The beguiling desires!
I stood firm,
I held my ground.
A battle started,
Between me and my desires.
So threatening it was,
But I never retreated.
Yes, I was scared,
But I had to win.
There were desires,
Good and bad.
All looked the same,
I had to make a choice.
How delighted I am,
To tell you this!
I won the battle,
And my choice was the reason.
