City Lights

To the world, it is fated,

Dark obviated by whites

Skin or the azure

So fancies the city lights.

 

Glinting all its beauty.

Striking days, or fetching nights,

Who knows the difference?

Both alike, cite city lights.

 

Entice the young and old,

Over-bright clouding the lies,

Forge dazzle, fake lucent

Truths buried in aureate skies.

 

Seize the peace, shatter love,

The limelight longed by eyes,

Staying for long time aches,

Charm hides the painful cries.

 

Glossy world buys bucks,

The city bestows the lights,

Everyone runs and runs

Never sways the city lights.
