In the rainbow of Life

Are colours of success and strife

In all hues of the colours seven

We paint our own hell and heaven

 

Violet is the power and ambition

The soldier marching towards his mission

Indigo is complete devotion and wisdom

The nine jewels in Akbar’s kingdom

Blue is the balance and serenity

The deep moving ocean’s entity

Green is growth and freshness

The new saplings muting the bareness

Yellow is the happiness and hope

The morning rays making darkness elope

Orange is the freedom and creativity

The bunches of marigolds in all festivity

Red is a paradox, both anger and love

The trumpet of war and olive of the dove

 

Each colour stands its ground firm

Driving us each day its power to affirm

Dance in the storm to the notes of the fife
