In the midst of chaos and strife

There is a force that brings new life

Her name is Shakti, the mighty goddess

Whose power and strength are truly seamless

With ten arms and a lion mount

She strikes fear into demons' count

Her weapons are many and her wrath is fierce,

And she will not hesitate to raise her trishul to pierce

 

From her forehead, radiates light

A symbol of her divine might

She's the one who slays the evil

And ensures that righteousness is never feeble

But beneath her fearsome exterior 

Lies a gentle heart that is full of love and cheer

She blesses her devotees with peace and prosperity

And protects them from all harm and adversity

Oh! Mighty Divine, we bow before your power

And pray to you in every waking hour

May your blessings flow like a river

Your kindness knows no bounds, you are the most generous giver.
