Colours
Colours
If people were colours
I wonder which one you'd be?
Would you be a brighter shade of me?
Or a plain contrast, my wanna be?
It's hard to tell
After all, what we've been through
Isn't something less than hell?
You're more often like ocean blue
Calm and quiet on the outside
Hiding a world of its own inside.
I'm undoubtedly the warm crimson leaves in Autumn
Beautiful yet fallen.
If people were colours
You'd be turbulent blue
and I'd be fiery red.
But like leaves and seasons
We change our colour
without any rhyme or reason
From vibrant yellow to dullish brown
To suit their mood and their season
