Courage

Courage isn't roaring but raising a little voice,

Against what's not appropriate and what's not your choice,

It's letting that tiny feeling be your driving force,

It's silencing the dilemma and silencing the noise.

Courage is sailing steadily through the storm,

Courage is breaking that unfair norm,

It is preventing the fear and fury from stabbing you,

It is doing something you've never done and letting it reform you.

That courage, that effort, will make it effortless in the future,

To fall but to rise again is a teaching of nature,

Even the most heroic didn't receive their worth but they kept moving,

So cultivate faith and sew the entire humanity with a suture.

Nothing can drag you down if you have the courage to behold,

Courage to be persistent in this journey, mystical and strange,

Courage is to let go of what you can't control,

But can you call it courage if you couldn't initiate a change?
