Daffodils

I lost myself in daffodils,⁣⁣

Hypnotized by the colors of the sun.⁣⁣

And I knew that daffodils can’t bloom forever,⁣⁣

Nothing really can.⁣⁣

So I allowed myself to get lost,⁣⁣

The blissful moment was all I got,⁣⁣

And all the time in the universe had stopped,⁣⁣

There was no more clock, the cosmos was my host.⁣⁣

I finally felt at home,⁣⁣

United with the world I’ve known,⁣⁣

And everything became so simple,⁣⁣

I remembered things I’ve forgot.⁣⁣

The daffodils brought me back to the world,⁣⁣

And at least for a moment, I did not feel so blind or lost. ⁣⁣
