Dear pain,

How do you feel?

You came when I was trying to heal,

From the effects of your younger sibling,

I guess you don't talk too much.

Dear pain, 

Initially, I hated you and your guts,

Because I have been taught by your aunt that our relationship is that of blood,

Initially, I was complacent with your arrival,

Now it seems in order to succeed you are the trial.

Dear pain,

I was so sad when everyone I cared and loved was concerned about your well being,

It's like I didn't exist.

Not that I needed much,

But a little love is a must.

As I matured I realized that you weren't a woe but a true friend,

Because in my lows you were there till the end.

I still remember when you were born,

My mother cried.

As you know misery loves company,

There's a little comfort in that thought as I got you for life.

Our bond has grown stronger over the years,

Some moments filled with joy some with tears.

See everything you make me feel and say is real, And I respect you cause you tell it,

All my friends are jealous of you because I talk about you 24/7.

I didn't understand our relation back in the day,

But now I understand in order to proceed that's the way.

I can go on about our special bond,
