Deceit
Deceit
Man, in itself a noble concept,
Super most creation of the Great.
Vested with a reasoning touch,
Free action, and an illusive fate.
Ingredients pure, processing fair,
Of quality, are the mix.
Anticipations humane throughout
The creator was never in a fix.
How then came the difference,
In planning and the result.
Noble aspirations turned deceptive,
Explaination, appearing difficult.
Satan played a mystic role!
Challenging the authority of Lord.
Man turning a deceitful guy,
Belying the existence of placental chord.
Keeping self above all,
How come the rule of the day?
Cheating misleading, an art
Playing tricks, an accepted way.
Winning confidence the only mark,
Later to exploit for gain.
Changing faces on demand,
Values, going down the drain.
Something divine still, in man.
Brooding for the ultimate.
Conscience pricking at every step,
Occasionally turning intricate.
Don't let this immortal die,
In you, as much as you can.
Serpents and satans a passing show,
Survivor shall be a decent man.
