Desiree! 

I call you here, and I call you now,

My happiness is nowhere to be found,

My soul is faded, and my heart is in the ground,

crushed into a million pieces.

 

Dear Desiree!

It's my first ever time,

To drink this sour mix of lime,

I thought it wouldn't cost me a dime, 

But I was wrong! It cost me my heart.

 

Beloved Desiree!

I'm going to shut this door.

Not letting anyone feel my flow

Not until I sweep my floor,

B'cause bits of my heart are all over the place.

 

Beautiful Desiree!

I put my guard up,

Building my wall to the highest up,

And this is the armor I'll suit up,

I know they are beautiful, but not with my heart, they aren't.
