Desires

My desires burn like a wildfire,

Incessant and consuming all in their path.

I yearn for success and admiration,

And for love that will forever last.

I long for adventure and excitement,

The thrill of the unknown and new experiences.

A desire to make a difference,

To leave a legacy that never ceases.

But above all else, I crave happiness,

Contentment in life and all its endeavors.

For without it, my other desires mean nothing, 

They are mere fleeting pleasures and temporary treasures. 

So, as I continue on this journey called life, 

I pray that my deepest desires will be fulfilled with no strife.
