Dream Sequence

Should I laugh, should I weep,

These are stories on repeat,

Some faces unknown,

Some creatures mystic.

It all seems real,

Although it's surreal,

I know I should sleep,

That it's just a dream!

It's not always trouble,

At times I seem content,

But those events never happened,

And that is what I resent.

At times I am running,

Or being held at gun point,

At times I am drowning,

Or just being left behind.

I don't know what to say,

Or when will this end,

I don't want this to stay,

I fear it might transcend!
