Dream To Die In Arran isles
Dream To Die In Arran isles
It was the time of my eternal morning sidewalk
I had no human to talk only the isle of Arran for cross talk
I had the shallow brook with trouts and perches feeding their families to stalk
Can you hear the cuckoos and humming birds competing with their caramel voices alike a gawk?
The crimson sun had come with his army of golden ray
They fought so hard but could not win against the tight hug of robin brothers gay
The foolish frogs of the steady brook got trapped in the sun’s shadow crochet
But the sister water lilies did save their brothers did make the sunny trap convey
The brook was dancing on the rainbow pebbles and singing with the humming bee
Daisies and violets were dipping their hoods into the cold water foresee
Lending the brook their perfume to enchant flies and flea
But she was to meet her impatient lover waiting at the lake Innisfree
I like a helpless father bid the brook a goodbye as she fled away with her lover dale
The lake and the tulip valleys seemed characters of fantastic tale
The tangy tulip sisters were dancing along the lake entrails
The sisters kissed the couples opening their green wedding veils
I had to march out of this enticing pedalo up to my cabin on the Arran hill
The path was full of tall apartments cursing human skill
They were those tall oaks with the finch family as the fill
I had completed my brevet away from the urban Bastille
These isles are lost round the Scottish water blue blue
But the lilies wore their green hoods for the sun’s adieu
Begins the opera of bugs crickets and cicadas as their ballyhoo
The obedient clouds had assembled for their rain march with the moo
Isles promise my soul you won’t imitate the urban aura
Eternalness this petrichor fauna and flora.
