Emptiness.
Emptiness.
Emptying the Emptiness.
Empty as a desert plain,
Devoid of life, devoid of rain
The barren landscape stretches far
A void that leaves no trace or scar
Emptiness, a hollow void
A nothingness that's unenjoyed
A vacuum, sucking out all life
A black hole, cutting like a knife
The emptiness, it eats away
At all that's bright and full of day
It's absence feels like a disease
A void that spreads with little ease
The emptiness, a cruel abyss
A chasm that we cannot miss
A haunting feeling in our souls
A loss that's hard to keep control
So let us face this emptiness
And try to fill it with a kiss
A kiss of life, a spark of hope
A light that helps us cope
For emptiness may take away
But we can bring back light of day
And in that light, we'll find our way
To chase the emptiness away.
Vacuity, an existential plight,
An abject absence of life's light,
A lacuna, a void, a chasm deep,
A hollow emptiness, all-encompassing,
it does creep.
Desolation reigns supreme,
A barren wasteland, a hopeless dream,
A nullity that's hard to fill,
An ineluctable void, an unfathomable chill.
The vacuous abyss, it does devour,
All that's vibrant, all that's ours,
It's an insidious absence, a numbing force,
A paralyzing void that leaves no recourse.
Oh, the emptiness, it does persist,
A morass of nothingness, an insistent mist,
A void that's hard to overcome,
A daunting emptiness, that leaves us numb.
Yet, in the midst of emptiness,
A spark of hope, a glimmer of bliss,
A ray of light, a beacon bright,
Can pierce the darkness and ignite.
So, let us not succumb to vacuity,
But fill the emptiness with positivity,
With love, with joy, with peace, and grace,
And let emptiness be replaced.
