Empty Vessels Make More Noise

From childhood, I have been hearing, 

Elders always say,                    

Empty vessels make more noise,    

so I was curious and took a poise,

To understand this thought deeper,

I seriously began to ponder, 

Actually empty vessels,                                     

Meant boastful & untalented individuals,

Often they keep beating their own drums,            

 Bragging about their talents,

Also about their status and themselves, 

As I grew up I understood empty vessels,

This means untalented people who boast,

Are always proud, arrogant and attention-seeking,

Talented & intelligent people are like full vessels,

They are simple, humble, realistic & rational.
