epiphany
epiphany
“Why’d you put me through hell
Just to compensate by having me in heaven
Was it not enough in the present
To take me back to the past?
I don’t get this crap about life
Inhibiting virtues and sacrificing viles
After all everyone’s just gonna die
So why try travel the extra mile?”
Struck was Evelyn with this delusion
Little did she know it was all about exploration
When eventually it became, a messy combination
For she disregarded everyone else’s creation
Could her immaturity get any more dramatic?
Or was there a chance to make her pragmatic
Sure, why not? But it would be sporadic
For they had to choose, the path of an empathic
But was it worth for all the tantrums?
Even though the path did demand these fulcrums
Guess the struggle’s real for the optimum
And for the reality to finally succumb
That’s the time, everything seems wrong
Until it unfolds, like a piece of onion
Wait until you butcher it, through a prong
For it’d lose the essence, and burn the dawn
Evelyn responded, with brutal claims
That she had learnt from Instagram pages
Seems like the generation gap took its wage
Putting the infants, in a hostile cage
Her parents pondered, how she’d react
When she would finally comprehend, this life’s extract
The maimful realization, would renew the contract
Impertinence and imperiousness, would it subtract
Think of her, as the representation of the mass
Could all of them, in this test pass?
Or simply live, in their small-magisterial nest
With no criteria for their evolution to assess
What if this case, is simply subjective
And someone’s being overly pedantic
Is this a case, of our future’s prospective
For which the world, is becoming selective
Could we learn, to compromise and earn
A wholesome experience for the negatives to churn
Preventing our senses to die and adjourn
Decreasing the damage of the devastating burn
Things take time, to evolve and comprehend
For the human race, to skillfully extend
Then could you finally, to the heaven ascend
With qualities of consideration, giving up condescend
It’s necessary in the game, for the goals to kick you
To make you realize of all the things you never knew
To enable you, to fearlessly pursue
To put you in the space, of spirituality’s blue
Use your experience, as a lesson for the future
That’ll enable your growth, just like an ambitious tuber
Will your faults then get stitched by a suture
Finding a person who’d your insecurities, allure
Remember your purpose, why you’ve been sent
For reforms in the humanity, to recommend
For the toxicity and cynicism, become a dividend
And for the generations ahead, set a trend
