Everlasting Conflict

Me the jumbo -The wild elephant, 

Anticipating my new little friend, 

Moving in the valley -nature's dining room, 

With a hungry baby in my bumpy -bend, 

Adore you, little baby, 

Baby -O', Baby-O', 

Meandering through the forest, 

Daring to go astray, 

Unknowing our reckoning death hours, 

Enchanted by a fruit lying closer, 

Ignorant it is firework stuffed, 

Oh! Unempathetic act of humans, 

Snare aimed at my fellow being, 

Unfortunately mislead, 

No sooner my excitement peaked, 

Relishing the food, 

Explosives burst, tearing us into parts, 

Repercussions of my pleasant thought, 

Alas! Anguish reciprocated, 

Pain unrivaled,

Motionless womb, 

Breathed my last, 

Starved and shrunk, we lay on the ground, 

Helplessness faced by my womb, 

Baby-O', Baby-O', 

Regret never to see a human face, 

The remnants...

Images haunting the world, 

Outpouring grief, 

Yet! A sad reality always remains, 

The human-animal conflict.
