Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining
Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining
There is a shiny silver lining, to the gloomy Lock- down,
Just focus on the radiant smile, not the irritated frown.
Mina Ghosh goes to the office early, comes home very late;
Little Johnny does not see his mother, such is his dire fate!
Lock- Down is for him, an unexpected Blessing in Disguise;
Playing with his mother all day, Little Johnny’s time flies!
Tina Wilson has a grudge, why should she invariably
Prepare her husband’s lunch, while he goes Scot-free;
He does not wash the clothes; neither rocks the baby,
It is God’s Will she should rest; which she needs badly.
Now Mister is in the kitchen, morning, noon, and night;
If food is too salty or burnt, there is the time for a fight!
Roma is delighted to have some invaluable spare time;
She can write her novel, or try composing a funny rhyme.
If she wants, she can lazily loll about, in her bed all day,
That’s only, if the unused calories, aren’t coming into play!
There’s no hurry, no scurry, no missing the jam-packed bus,
As the Virus is air-borne, avoid air, and in your home relax!
It is a luxury, to sit at home, and get paid for regular work.
To be paying you, while you relax, isn’t any Employer’s quirk!
It is time to attend to your house, clean it well, inside out.
You’ve to brush, and scrub- slog away, of that, is no doubt!
But you’ll be proud of your home, sparkling, new and clean,
You too will look fit as a fiddle-not as melodious, but lean!
