Everything Comes at a Price
Everything Comes at a Price
Everything comes at a price,
That is an important lesson in life.
For the lies are tainted but beautiful,
Yet the truths are ugly but crucial.
Everything comes at some cost,
Whether it is abstract or not.
You repay your bliss and happiness in torment,
For if, you cannot mourn, how are you happy to an extent?
How can you love yet not hate?
No enemies? How can you celebrate…?
The love of your Mother and Father?
Death will retrieve them my friend,
That is when your loving ends.
Your love will act like a dagger,
If you reach too close, it will pierce your heart in anger.
When you reach to pull it out your wounds,
It will disappear leaving you in your gloom.
Ultimately, it was never there,
Remind yourself in your prayers.
For everything comes at a price,
That is an important lesson in life.
Heed my warning dear friend,
If you have not paid, you are in debt.
You will spend the rest of your life confined
A prisoner in your own mind.
