Faded

He knocked in my room of heart, which was mere structured bricks.

Painted wall with a hundred colour of love,

Placed a silk sheet beautified with dreams,

Laid out velvet rug, wrapped up by desire.

Placed the curtain of pearls stringed into emotional thread.

Kept a cupboard filled with happiness,

Placed a mirror to enhance my identity,

Kept the clock filled with peaceful instances on the wall,

Mounted the mighty dignified ink on the nightstand,

Then locked the door with the chain and never came back.

Now the wall is faded,

Sheet is colourless,

Rug is dusty,

Threads have broken, pearls fell apart.

Cupboard got nibbled,

Mirror is shattered,

Clock is stuck,

Ink is parched,

Just Have a glance,

What it turned out,

Which you adorned with desires,

Desires are broken and fragmented into million of pieces,

Are you aware,

Heart-rending,you remain unaware.
