Fairytale Love Tragedy

Their love was like a fairytale,

A storybook romance that never would fail,

He was her prince charming, she his adoring queen,

Their love was a love that had never been seen.

They shared a love so pure and true,

A bond that only grew and grew,

But fate had other plans in store,

And their love was tested like never before.

For she fell ill and could not be saved,

Leaving her lover alone and enslaved,

To memories of her that would never fade,

His heart shattered, his soul depraved.

He would sit by her grave and reminisce,

Of the love they shared and the happiness,

He would cry tears of sorrow and regret,

Wishing he could hold her once again, yet.

Even though she is gone, he still hears her wail,
