Dumb, feeble, sleek, of no use

As she entered the room, these words fell upon her ears

Without a frown, she greeted everyone with a smile 

Just to show that she hasn't listened to anything

Calm and composed as a deity she tried to be part of a party 

But already long before she was silently abandoned

Be it her father or now her mother-in-law

She is accustomed to these "adjectives" since her birth 

And now these words have become a part of her life 

Tantrums, scolding, burden, violence this was not new to her

Earlier her father and now her husband

Just her surname is changed not her condition

Falguni Pathak is now Falguni Sneh 

Every night behind the closed doors she is raped and butchered
