When I look into the mirror

This is what I see

Picture an image of something sad

Then you will see me for who I am

I am not in a happy place with myself

It is true that I feel misplaced 

With nothing good in my life

I have low self-esteem 

I sometimes have these tunes in my head

It's always some classical and cosy melody

That can lift up my emotions

And help me to see the light

I think I will give into these temptations of mine 

And delve into what I yearn for

My longing is for you

You make me have these warm sensations 

Did you know that I cry myself to sleep 

Each night and you are in my dreams

It is only there that I can feel your embrace

As I cuddle into your neck I smell your scent

I see the faces of other lovers

Who has everything that they desire 

In their heart of hearts, they know

The one they love loves them

But you have not touched me yet

Though you have melted my tender heart

Every time I see your bright eyes

I want to dive straight into your soul 

So don't forsake me or understate me

I am much more than who I am
